How does cancelling or downgrading work?

Committees reasonably want to know what happens if circumstances change — a scheme winds up, moves fully to a manager's own systems, or simply decides Flex Strata isn't the right fit.

Cancelling

Cancellation can be requested at any time and takes effect at the end of the current billing period, whether that's the current month or the current year for annual subscribers. There's no separate cancellation fee.

What happens to your data

Before cancelling, it's worth exporting or noting anything the committee wants to retain outside the portal — documents, meeting minutes, compliance records — since ongoing access ends once the subscription lapses. If you're moving to full Strata Pages rather than cancelling outright, your existing records carry across automatically because it's the same underlying platform.

Switching between monthly and yearly

A committee can move from monthly to yearly billing, or vice versa, generally taking effect from the next billing cycle rather than requiring cancellation and resignup.

Pausing rather than cancelling

There's no separate "paused" tier — if a committee needs a genuine break (a change of management structure, for example), the practical options are continuing the subscription at whatever lot count applies, or cancelling and starting a fresh trial later if eligible.
